The Genneperhuis was a castle and fortified fortress at the mouth of the Niers in the Meuse near the town of Gennep near Milsbeek. Until 2009, there were hardly any ruins left, only the crown works and elevations in the landscape still give an impression of the size. The area has the status of a protected monument.

During the Dutch Revolt, the Genneperhuis had several occupiers: first the Staatsen, after which the Spaniards conquered it in 1599, after which it was recaptured by the Staatsen in 1602. In 1635 the Spaniards took over and fortified it again, but in 1641 the castle was abandoned again by Stadtholder Frederik Hendrik after the Siege of Gennep. At the Peace of Münster and Osnabrück, the Genneper House and the city of Gennep were assigned to Brandenburg, actually the city of Kleve.
