Hiking

The special highlight of this forestry trail of the Schleswig-Holstein state forests. Here it is not the living creature tree that is illuminated, but rather wood as a material. And this is happening in a very interesting way! The large information boards use the show-with-the-mouse principle to explain very clearly what exactly you can do with wood. Using concept drawings from production, we learn how popsicle sticks are made or how chipboard is actually made. Very interesting!

Signs here provide information about various ways wood is processed, e.g., ice cream sticks.
