Hiking

There is no complete agreement as to the exact year of construction of this flour mill. What we do know is that the current mill hull dates from 1890, after the previous one caught fire due to a lightning strike. Because the roof has characteristics of the Zaanse style, it is suspected that the remains of an old Zaanse mill were used when rebuilding the mill.
