In the places that were the scene of a tragic battle during the First World War, the FAI owns an area of 150 hectares of high-altitude forest and pasture. At an altitude of 1461 m there is the Malga Fontana Secca, a typical example of a mountain pasture which has been abandoned for 30 years. The FAI plans to recover grazing activities, bringing back the Burline cows, recovering the ancient production of Morlacco and Bastardo cheeses, setting up a guesthouse and an education center on mountain pasture culture.
