The town of Bosschenhoofd got its own station, but this was probably named Seppe in the railway timetables, after a well-known tavern in the area. After renovations in 1885 and 1915, the building acquired its current form.
The station building was converted into a home in 1941, with a small part still in use as a block post until 1972. In 1989 the building became temporarily vacant, but after a few years it was given a new purpose as the flower boutique "De Goudsbloem".
