The Anta das Pedras Altas, also known as Anta de Mealha, is a megalithic monument in the municipality of Tavira, built at the end of the Neolithic or Chalcolithic. The place offers a unique panorama of the area. Important archaeological discoveries were made here in the 1970s, including pieces of chipped and polished stone.
