Hiking

The original monument from 1930 did not survive World War II. The current construction was reconstructed in 1967. Interestingly, the original author of the project - Zofia Trzcińska-Kamińska - was involved in its reconstruction (with the help of Kazimierz Bieńkowski). The figure of Tadeusz Kościuszko was made from the bell of the Imperial Castle, which fell from the tower in 1945.

The monument to Tadeusz Kościuszko was created according to designed by Zofia Kamińska-Trzcińska. It was unveiled in 1930. on the 12th anniversary of the outbreak of the Greater Poland Uprising. A large, nice, well-kept monument under which military parades take place.
