Levada do Alecrim is one of the many routes that can be accessed from the Rabaçal car park. It is a fantastic route immersed in the forests of Madeira, well maintained, accessible to runners of all levels. It is worth mentioning that the levada has peaks of movement, so it is essential to plan your departure if you want to avoid "traffic".

A pleasant hike along the levada, which is entirely shaded. We were only out there at midday and were very grateful for the shade. Once we reached the waterfall, a cooling dip was well worth it.
