The view of the former Diabas quarry is spectacular, but: It is important to distinguish between the "Diabas quarry viewpoint" above Wolfshagen and the "Spur der Steine viewing platform" on the eastern side. The former is top, the latter is completely overgrown, dilapidated and closed.
