Some six million people cross it every year! It was built in 1893 and is the oldest transporter bridge in the world. The designer, Alberto Palacio, was one of Gustave Eiffel's disciples. It is 61 meters high and 160 meters long and its shuttle bar is for the transport of vehicles and passengers.
