Hiking
The Triton Fountain, built in 1902, is located in the city center. Until 1971 it still stood on the stairs in the town hall passage. Turtles and lizards climb up three of the six corners of the pool. The pillar, several meters high, carries a bronze fish on which a small boy rides, who holds a trident in his hand, has scaly fins and resembles a sea god.

According to the NRW Sculpture Directory, the Triton Fountain in Duisburg was erected in 1902. Triton, the son of Amphitria and Poseidon, is a figure in Greek mythology.
