Farragon Hill at 783 m is an imposing Corbett on the southern edge of Loch Tummel. Normally reachedby a tough off track run from the end of the Foss Mine track to the west. Great when combined with Meall Tairneachan for a proper adventure.
It's best to run this at the weekend to avoid the mine workings and vehicles. It will be quieter and wilder.
The last section from the end of the mine track up to the summit is pathless and a serious undertaking in poor visibility.
