Story
The church, built between 1810 and 1812, is one of the most beautiful neo-Gothic creations under Prince Franz. The eventful church history of the Vockerode community began as early as 1540 with the mention of the first chapel on the Kirchberg. In December 1809, the new church was built in the neo-Gothic style and the topping-out ceremony was celebrated in September 1810. The inauguration of the church, which is still preserved in its original form today, took place on September 27, 1812 and by 1817 the interior of the church was decorated with neo-Gothic decorative decorations.
