The Traun is an approximately 29 km long river in the Traunstein district of Upper Bavaria. It arises from the Weißer and Roter Traun near Siegsdorf and flows into the Alz in Altenmarkt an der Alz. The Traun (Alz) is not to be confused with the Traun (Donau) (Wikipedia).
