Hiking
The Taylor's Notch Trail is a popular trail up the north side of Mount Holyoke. Although this trail is relatively short, it's fairly steep with many exposed rocks and roots underfoot. The bottom part of the trail in the forest can be a little buggy, but once you get about halfway up and the trees thin, there is usually a good breeze that keeps the bugs away and allows you to take in the views unencumbered.
