Through the gate you reached the former manor, whose fief-bearer from 1691 to 1729 was the family Stechinelli.
Stechinelli, brought as a child from Italy by the last Duke of Celle, was the Duke's favorite.
In 1678 Stechinelli was entrusted with the postal service of the Duchy.
But he also made a name for himself as a master builder.
Born in 1640, Stechinelli died in 1694. In 1882, the Guts building burned down.
The Junkerntor can be found in the coat of arms of our community.
