If you follow the path coming from the direction of Gemünd, then the climb up to Herhahn starts right at the roundabout. At approx. 3km you drive up approx. 200 hm here. You will be rewarded with a great view over the mountains of the Eifel. The path is paved and without traffic. An alternative would be Aachener Strasse with more traffic.
