If you leave the paved village street in the so-called "old village" and head for the cobblestone pavement, this has a little something of a time travel. At the end of the few farms, it goes to the field, there begins the Mittenwald path. The pavement becomes narrower and more uncomfortable and gradually it turns into a sandy track, which is better or worse to drive depending on the weather. The environment is fantastic and at times a little bewitched. The route leads along the flood-grove Waltersdorf, past the Brennereigraben and ends at the L402 / Dahlewitzer Chaussee.
