Mount Breitenbach Trailhead

Embark on the Mount Breitenbach Trail for a challenging hike through Idaho's Lost River Range. This difficult route covers 7.0 miles (11.3 km) and involves a significant elevation gain of 4277 feet (1304 metres). You can expect diverse scenery as you ascend, passing a small waterfall and navigating rough, steep terrain with thick underbrush and creek crossings. The climb to Mount Breitenbach, Idaho's fifth highest peak, offers expansive views.
