Dillon Reservoir Dam is located above the town of Silverthorne. Crossing the dam offers wide open views of the Tenmile Range stretching behind the town of Frisco and some 14ers in the Mosquito Range even further south. In the other direction are views of Ptarmigan Peak looming behind Silverthorne.
