Les Flandes is a place near the town of Piera, in the Catalan region of l'Anoia. It is characterized by a landscape of horizontal strata of Quaternary deposits of clay and calcareous materials, whose different resistance to the erosive action of water has given them their particular appearance. The reddish colors of the clay, the concave shapes created by erosion and the green of the pine trees form a unique landscape.
