Through the suburbs you reach the church St. Ägydi ("Dörflkirche") via the Vöcklabrücke (city name!), called "Dörflbrücke".
Built by Pilgrim von Weng (12th century), converted into a cross-domed church by CA Carlone around 1688 (frescoes by CA Bussi). During the renovation work in 1980, gilded copper plates with the image of Christ ("Vöcklabruck Christ") - probably book fittings - were found. Attached to the original church was a Christian hospice (then the third largest in the German-speaking area) and the vicarage, which is still preserved today.
