20th century: The Bad Salzig station developed into an important stop for spa guests after the town was named "Bad" in 1925.
Restructuring: The Bad Salzig station was later downgraded to a simpler stop. In June 2001, the Boppard station was renamed "Boppard Hauptbahnhof".
