As the name suggests, this pier was designed for anglers. With a day ticket, anglers and walkers (authorized price) can access the pier. There are toilets, a kiosk and a restaurant. The pier appears to be well maintained and well organized for anglers. From the pier you have a good view of the Virginia Beach promenade.

Still, you can take beautiful photos of the sunrise there with the pier;) But supposedly it will be demolished soon ... a great pity

Cycling

The pier is a great place for a break while riding the Virginia Beach Boardwalk. You need to get a day ticket to get access to all of the pier, but even without a ticket you still get a great view of the coastline.
