The picturesque Gräppelensee lies in a wide hollow south of the Lütispitz at 1,307 meters above sea level. It is about 140 meters long and 110 meters wide, with a circumference of 500 meters. Its area is 2.1 hectares. On the eastern shore of the Gräppelensee there are two barbecue areas. You can swim in the lake. The easiest way to get into the water is via the jetty on the north shore.
