Hiking

After a tragic drowning accident in 1959, the station was built at the Krombachtalsperre. Over the years, the station has been repeatedly modernized and rebuilt. Today the guard station offers 8 beds in 2 rooms, a kitchen, two bathrooms and a spacious guard room. Furthermore, a boat shed was built over time and expanded in 2002, so that it now offers space for the two motor boats, two rowing boats and other rescue equipment. The recreational value of the site has also increased over the years. In 2006 a beach volleyball field and a new campsite were built.
