Den Treek is a hamlet[1] and estate belonging to the Dutch municipality of Leusden, in the province of Utrecht. The country house is located on the edge of the woods of the Utrechtse Heuvelrug, 2 kilometers southwest of Leusden-Zuid.
The history of 'Den Treek' largely coincides with the history of Leusden. The villa Lisiduna, which was already mentioned in the eighth century, grew into Leusden (nowadays: Oud-Leusden). In the nineteenth century, Leusden moved to the southwest, towards Leusbroek, to what is now called Leusden-Zuid and even later the center of present-day Leusden developed around Hamersveld.
