Domplatz St. Pölten: Once the core of the Roman settlement "Aelium Cetium". Baroque conversion of the cathedral by Jakob Prandtauer and his circle of artists. The former monastery building is located north of the 77 meter high cathedral. TIP: Thursday and Saturday are market days!
