The pretty gatehouse made of yellow clinker brick once belonged to the Leipzig slaughterhouses. They've since been demolished. The directorship and television production of Mitteldeutscher Rundfunk (MDR) has been located on the site since 1993. Produced here u. a. the political magazine FAKT and the business magazine PLUSMINUS. As part of the MDR studio tour, you can see the broadcaster's production rooms and the neighboring Media City.
