Between 1918 and 1920, the service buildings were inaugurated: the company store, the offices, the theater (later converted into a cinema), the school, and the nuns' residence (today the central museum building).
Together with the neighboring Sant Josep and la Consolació, this colony became the most important mining center in Catalonia.
