The smallest and shallowest of the three remaining Vetschau lakes is located in the Kahnsdorf district (now Raddusch district) of the devastated village of the same name. After reaching the drainage level at 57.2 m above sea level, it will have a water surface of approx. 58 hectares and will then drain into the former settling basin via the Kahnsdorfer Feldgraben in the direction of Raddusch. In contrast to the Bischdorfer See, which is used for tourism, it will be left to itself and will thus produce its own undisturbed biodiversity.
