Hiking
Honestly, I think it's nicer on this side. The caves on the other side are interesting in my opinion, but not a 'must see'. In addition, they are sometimes misused as toilets, and it smells accordingly. And the access to the churches is barred (not surprising). On this side you get a good impression of the gorge. And it has fewer people around.
