Hiking

The Caminho dos Romeiros runs parallel to the CR 23x a little further away from the beach. It is just as typically paved, but significantly more exposed, flooded with water in the lower part and, above all, twice as steep (800m for 200m). At the lower end you have to cross part of the river bed without a bridge - easily doable depending on the water level. For me, the descent was the highlight of the day - the steps fit my short legs perfectly.
