The musician and composer Kaspar Schrammel was born in this house on January 6, 1811. He became famous through a small orchestra founded together with his son Konrad in Vienna, which played in the local inns. Later his other sons Johann and Josef joined the orchestra. The music of the sons became known as Schrammel music. Today it is considered Viennese folk music.
