This hike typically takes around 10 hours and 50 minutes, leading you through varied terrain including stony paths, grassy slopes, and steep sections with many stairs. You will traverse traditional mule tracks, pass through larch and alder forests, and navigate scree fields, all while enjoying panoramic views of the majestic Monte Rosa massif and glimpses of Monte Tagliaferro.
