The Galgenberg is a striking hill, surrounded by a wonderfully idyllic "gently rolling" landscape and wonderful views. The Galgenberg itself is definitely worth climbing; the detour doesn't take much time and is rewarded with an even more magnificent view. We walked along here on a circuit around St. Andreasberg and enjoyed all the beautiful views and the idyllic landscape for the entire 15 km.
