    60m

Embark on the Alfa Fia Tank Loop, an easy hiking route that spans 0.6 miles (0.9 km) with a gentle elevation gain of 6 feet (2 metres). You can expect to complete this loop in about 16 minutes, making it ideal for a quick outdoor escape. As you hike, you will pass through dense aspen and pine forests, leading you to the serene Alfa Fia Tank where you might see the San Francisco Peaks and Humphreys Peak reflected on its surface.

To access this route, head to Aspen Corner, a well-known starting point within the Snowbowl area. The trail is generally easy to follow, though you should be aware that some sections directly around the tank can be a little less clear. While much of the path is smooth, be prepared for some areas that may have rocky terrain.

This short loop is a true hidden gem, especially vibrant in autumn when the foliage turns. The Alfa Fia Tank itself is a small pond, offering a peaceful spot to observe the natural beauty and potentially spot local wildlife. It provides a unique opportunity to experience the Coconino National Forest's charm without committing to a long excursion.
