3000m reached after a steep climb through the woods following the Langtang River upwards to this beautiful plateau.
This is where the valley opens from Gorge to wider valley views.
A lovely little pond/lake is a good spot to stop and let yourself adjust to the higher altitude.
From here the trek is fairly steady with short steep sections that do slow you down if you are beginning to feel the combo of 2 big days and the altitude.
