It is a brick basilica, modeled in part on early Christian churches, the aisles of which are narrow and separated from the nave by a series of semicircular arches on square brick pillars interspersed with concrete, all finished in clean masonry. Round arches can also be found in the rood screen and the windows. The room is vaulted with a flat wooden ceiling. There is a rosette in the front facade. In the semicircular apse is a mural by Bert Coppens from around 1960 depicting the Crucifixion.
