If you are looking for a unique hiking destination in Belgium, you can visit La halte royale, a former private train station built by King Leopold II in 1898. This medieval-style building is located in the Ardennes forest, near de la Lesse, and was used to transport guests of the luxurious Château royal d'Ardenne hotel. You can admire the architecture of the station, which includes a circular hall, a square tower and a spiral ramp that leads to the castle.
