Sources confirm that Malga Guccione is located at an altitude of 1427 m, in the territory of Darfo Boario Terme, on the northern slope of Monte Altissimo.
It is situated in an area of pastures and fir forests, just above the Pratolungo basin and near the Guccione and Pratolungo pools.
It is a very important transit point on the routes connecting:
Croce di Salven → Val Sorda → Pratolungo → Altissimo
Plai → Malga Corvino → Malga Guccione
