Cycling

The Stokówka quarry is located within the Skibskie Mountains belonging to the Zelejowski Range. The excavation, which is closed today, crosses the Stokówka Mountain crosswise, creating a characteristic gap. A calcite vein, consisting of several generations, was exploited here. As a result, the obtained rock blocks were multi-colored (from white to pink). The rocks that were once obtained here belong to the so-called rhodium zelejowska. Mining was carried out here in the second half of the 20th century for about five years.
