Sad reality: In Italy, songbirds are unfortunately still caught for consumption. This is also the reason why songbirds are almost never seen or heard in Italy. Please pay attention. Mostly only crows, seagulls and pigeons can be spotted. With the bird trapping station shown in my photos, songbirds and migratory birds are attracted and caught using various methods. We saw two such facilities on the short walk.
