Hiking

A 3.5 meter high Christophorus sculpture has now been unveiled on the edge of the harbor in Flensburg. The bronze figure is a monument to the patron saint of travelers and seafarers. The idea came from the Flensburg artist Ruprecht Leiß and was then created by the Prenzlau sculptor Claus Lindner. Four and a half years have passed from the initial idea to the installation. The two artists collected a total of 110,000 euros in donations for their project.
