Road cycling
Inland surfing centre near Bristol. Plenty of bike parking in the main carpark and right next to the building. Seems fairly secure since it is a long way off the road.
Lovely cafe with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Lunch options and beer selection looked great. Coffee and cake were lovely. They even have vegan and gluten-free options! Price seems reasonable and staff were friendly. Service could have been quicker but to be fair it was very busy.
Very entertaining to watch the surfing while enjoying some food and drink in the warmth.

Hiking
An inland surfing destination, the Wave is located to the north of Bristol. Not only can you surf on its 650-foot (200 m) lake, there's also camping, while you can sample some delicious food and drink at the clubhouse. A playpark will keep the kids busy, while there's plenty of outdoor space to enjoy too.
