Gravel riding
This railway bridge is a striking structure in southern Slovakia, near the town of Štúrovo (opposite Esztergom). It spans the Hron river (Gran) just a few hundred meters before its mouth flows into the Danube. The bridge is located near the municipality of Kamenica nad Hronom (German: Kamenitz an der Gran). It is part of the important international railway line from Bratislava to Budapest (formerly the Hungarian State Railways line Vienna–Budapest). Since the Hron is very wide here, shortly before it flows into the Danube, this structure has always been technically demanding.
