The historic water mill in Roseburg has a lot to tell and is an idyllic place to slow down. It was even the filming location for the German TV drama "Der Duft von Holunder", which was produced for ARD and first broadcast on June 24, 2011. The historic water mill of Roseburg is idyllically situated on the mill pond and tells a lot about the former life in the Duchy of Lauenburg. Grinding took place here until the 1950s; the adjacent mill farm served the millers as a residential building, with a bakery in the cellar and a water basin for carp from the nearby pond. Today, the place is a quiet, atmospheric stopover: an enchanted spot by the water, which is well suited for a short break on your tour around Roseburg.
