Hiking
Keauhou Trail leads from the Chain of Craters Road all the way down to the ocean. It is a famous road among backpackers and includes primitive backcountry campsites near the coastline. As you are hiking on lava fields all the time, there won't be any shade so be prepared for a tough hike.
