La Cajigona, located in the neighborhood of Pesquera (Villacarriedo) was a beautiful specimen of Oak several hundred years old and was part of the list of Singular trees of Cantabria. When the tree died, instead of uprooting it, they kept it in its place where it so often gave great shade, turning it into a sculpture.
