The construction of this Tribulina is linked to the plague epidemic. The original location is not that of today, but was in the space below, at the foot of the first Brembo terrace.
180 dead from the parish of Albegno were buried there.
In 1854 the owner of the land, Antonio Frizzoni, had it demolished to build a new farmhouse, known as the "Resurrection".
The parish of Albegno rebuilt it between 1855 and 1863 in the present place. In 1906 it was dedicated to the Blessed Alberto da Villa d'Ogna.
